The lots worth your time
CAMP EZ RV carries the most weight here, with a 4.9 rating across 636 reviews and a full menu of service, parts, consignment and delivery. T & S RV and Sport is smaller but sharp, rated 4.8, and it is the one dealer here that offers financing. RV World of Texas rounds out the trio at 4.2 and sells used trailers only. Start with CAMP EZ if you want the deepest selection, but do not skip T & S for a personal walk-through and a conversation about financing before you commit. All three handle used trailers, so the pre-owned market is not thin. One dealer also lists motorhomes, which matters if your plans might grow beyond a bumper pull.
Before you sign
Get a pre-purchase inspection on any used trailer, even from a lot with a strong rating. Water damage and soft floors hide well under fresh caulk. Ask for a cold-start demonstration of the fridge, the furnace and the water pump, and have them show you the date codes on the tires. On a new unit, schedule the delivery walk-through for daylight and record it on your phone. Financing through T & S is convenient, but a pre-approval from your own bank or credit union gives you a number to compare against. Off-season shopping in East Texas can work in your favor when lots are quiet.
Around Livingston
Lake Livingston State Park is a short drive from the dealerships and makes a sensible spot for a shakedown weekend after you buy. If you are coming from Houston, the run up US 59 is straightforward, and the dealership cluster keeps the trip short. Service departments at CAMP EZ and T & S are on site, which is worth checking before you buy out of town. A local dealer who can get you in for warranty work without a two-hour tow is a real advantage. Plan to spend a full morning if you want to see all three lots properly.
