Sturtevant, WI
RV Dealers in Sturtevant, WI
Sturtevant sits just west of Racine, close enough to I-94 that a lot of shoppers from Milwaukee and Kenosha swing through on a Saturday. Three dealerships here sell RVs, and another 11 are within a short drive. The local average rating is 4.3, so you have decent options. I have bought two RVs and walked away from a third, and this stretch rewards a careful look.

What you'll find on the lot
The three Sturtevant dealers lean toward motorhomes and travel trailers, with two of them also carrying used inventory. Prosser's Premium RV Outlet holds a 4.5 rating from 323 reviews and sells new and used motorhomes and travel trailers, plus it has financing, service, and parts. Camping World - Sturtevant is the volume player with 982 reviews and a 4.2 rating, offering used motorhomes, travel trailers, financing, service, parts, and consignment. Capitol RV Motor Home City focuses on motorhomes but has no rating yet. That mix means you can compare a smaller independent against a national chain in the same afternoon. I would walk both lots before deciding, because the feel of a place matters as much as the sticker.
Before you make the drive
Two of the three dealers offer financing, but get pre-approved by your own bank or credit union first. It gives you a real number to compare against the dealer's offer and keeps the conversation short. Ask for a copy of the buyer's order before you discuss monthly payments. I learned that the hard way on my first purchase. Also check whether the service department can get you in within a reasonable time, since a busy shop is a good sign but a long wait is not. If you are buying used, insist on a pre-purchase inspection by an independent RV technician.
Timing and nearby stops
Off-season shopping around Sturtevant often means more attention from sales staff and a better chance to negotiate, though inventory is thinner. Fall and winter are good times to look if you are not in a hurry. The area is handy to Racine and Kenosha, so you can combine a dealer visit with other errands. Camping World sits near the interstate, which makes it an easy first stop. Prosser's and Capitol RV are close enough to hit in the same trip. Bring a notebook and take photos of anything you like, because lots blur together after a few hours.
