RV Dealers in Orange Park, FL
Orange Park sits just south of Jacksonville, and its RV lots draw shoppers from both sides of the St. Johns. Three dealers here carry used inventory, and two of them also stock motorhomes. The ratings run from a 4.6 to a 3.0, so the shopping experience varies. I have bought two RVs and walked away from a third, so I know a little patience pays off.

What the lots carry
All three Orange Park dealers list used RVs, and travel trailers show up at every one. Camping World and General RV Center also handle motorhomes. General RV adds new units to the mix. If you want a fifth wheel or a toy hauler, call ahead because not every lot keeps them in stock. I learned to ask for photos of the actual unit's date code on the tires. It saves a trip when the rubber is older than the coach. The mix here leans toward used, so expect some trade-ins with stories. A walk-around with a flashlight will tell you more than any listing photo.
The three dealerships
Camping World - Orange Park has the strongest rating at 4.6 from 853 reviews, and it offers service, parts, and consignment along with financing. General RV Center is the volume leader with 1,793 reviews and a 4.0 average, plus delivery and parts. Fun time RV & boat sales is the smallest, with 39 reviews and a 3.0 rating, but it does offer financing and delivery. That spread means you can compare a high-volume store against a smaller lot in one afternoon. I would still check the service department's calendar before signing anything, because a good sales desk and a backed-up shop are two different things.
Before you sign
Get pre-approved by your own bank or credit union before you walk in. All three dealers offer financing, which is convenient, but a outside quote gives you a number to compare against. Schedule a pre-purchase inspection with an independent RV tech, even on a used unit from a lot with a good rating. At delivery, do the walk-through with the water and power hooked up and every appliance running. I skipped that once and spent a weekend chasing a water pump issue. Off-season shopping can also work in your favor when lots are quieter. Nearby Jacksonville and the surrounding area give you a reason to make a day of it.
