RV Dealers in Wilmington, NC
Three RV dealers operate in Wilmington, and the average rating is 4.7, so the odds are decent. But three is a small field, and one of them has no ratings at all. That leaves two you can actually judge. I bought two RVs and walked away from a third, so I know how much the lot matters.

What the numbers say
With only 3 dealers in Wilmington, the average rating of 4.7 is heavily influenced by Vantra's 5.0 from 10 reviews. Howard RV Center has a 4.4 from 250 reviews, which is a much larger sample. That 4.4 tells you more about what to expect day to day than a perfect score from a handful of customers. Towbar Outlet has no rating yet, so treat it as an unknown. When you visit, ask about their service department and whether they handle warranty work on site.
Where to start your search
Start with Howard RV Center if you want the widest selection. It's the only one of the three listed with used, motorhome, and travel-trailer inventory, plus service, parts, and trade capabilities. That combination means you can probably handle most of the buying process in one place. Vantra offers delivery, which is handy if you'd rather not drive far. Towbar Outlet doesn't list inventory types, so call ahead. Nearby, you have 3 more dealers outside Wilmington, which gives you a few more lots to compare if the local three don't have what you want.
Before you sign
Get a pre-purchase inspection on any used RV, even from a lot with a good rating. I learned that the hard way on my first used motorhome. At delivery, do a full walk-through and test every system, including the water pump, furnace, and slides. If you need financing, check with your own bank or credit union first. None of the Wilmington dealers list offer financing, so you'll want to have a pre-approval in hand. Off-season shopping can sometimes mean more attention from sales staff, but don't rush the inspection.
