RV dealers in Alaska
Alaska is a big state with a small RV market, so the lot you choose matters more than the drive. We count 18 dealers here, averaging 4.1 stars. Anchorage, Palmer, Wasilla and Sterling hold most of them. Buyers here tend to care about insulation, holding tanks and whether the service bay can get parts before breakup, and that shapes which lots are worth the trip.

What the 18 dealers offer
Of the 18 Alaska RV dealers listed, 10 carry motorhomes, 6 sell travel trailers and 5 stock used units. Only 2 advertise financing, so plan to call your own bank or credit union first. That is standard advice anywhere, but it matters more here where the financing options are thin. Used inventory is a smaller slice than you might expect for a state this size. If you want a specific floorplan, call ahead and confirm it is on the lot before you drive. Photos and listings go stale fast in a market this spread out.
Lots worth the drive
Great Alaskan Holidays in Anchorage is the volume leader with 1,118 reviews at 4.4 stars, a motorhome focus and a parts counter. Dependable RV earns 4.5 stars across 113 reviews and sells new travel trailers, with financing and delivery on offer. Valley RV Center in the Palmer and Wasilla area does used, motorhome and travel trailer sales plus service, parts and consignment, which is handy if you are trading in. Alaska Camper Van Conversions has a perfect 5.0 from 20 reviews and handles service. Smaller shops like Moose River and Alaska RV Trip have near-perfect ratings but few reviews, so weigh those carefully.
Before you sign
Get a pre-purchase inspection from a shop that is not the seller, especially on used units. Alaska roads are hard on suspensions, seals and roofs, so have someone get on top and look at the caulking. Ask about winterizing and how the rig handles cold. At delivery, do the full walk-through: run every appliance, fill and dump the tanks, test the furnace and check the date codes on the tires. Off-season buying can work in your favor here. Check the service department's wait times before you commit, because a long queue in summer is a real cost.
