About The Vansmith
The Vansmith is a custom camper van shop in Boulder that works on high roof cargo vans: Mercedes Sprinters, Ram ProMasters, and Ford Transits. Builds cover the whole job, from insulation and soundproofing to cabinetry, flooring, and interior finishing. Electrical and plumbing get plenty of attention too. The team installs solar panels, batteries, inverters, water systems, showers, and diesel heaters from Espar and Webasto. They also do windows, vent fans, roof racks, pop-tops, and awnings, and the shop sells cabinets, storage cubbies, and floor plan templates for people building their own. With 75 Google reviews and a 4.8 rating, the pattern in the feedback is craftsmanship and build quality. Reviewers also call out the responsive team, with several noting quick answers to questions and photos sent during the process. A few mention heater and suspension work. It's veteran-owned, and the entrance and parking lot are wheelchair accessible.
