About Down By The River Vans
Down By The River Vans is a van conversion shop in Boulder, Colorado. Reviews consistently mention Tony, the owner, as honest and knowledgeable, with one reviewer noting he never made them feel like they were wasting his time. That kind of straight talk seems to be the norm here. The crew handles full camper van builds and also works on existing conversions. One customer had their 2020 Ford Transit converted in just a couple of months and was happy with the function, comfort, weight, and quality of the result. Another reviewer appreciated that the team was open to their ideas and helped them think outside the standard conversion box. Quality work comes up more than once, and one reviewer called it a one stop shop for camper vans. Not every review is glowing. One person wished they could give great reviews but had to redo insulation and found battery access more difficult than it needed to be. Nine reviews total, averaging 4.7 stars. If you are in the Boulder area and thinking about a custom van, this is a place to stop by and see their work.
