About Open Road Upfitters
Open Road Upfitters is a small shop in Glenbeulah, Wisconsin, that designs and builds custom van conversions. It's not a lot full of trailers and motorhomes. The work here is one van at a time, built around what the owner wants inside. The reviews are few but consistent. Four people have rated it, all five stars. They talk about Tony by name and describe him as easy to work with, someone who listens to your ideas and then builds them. One reviewer stopped by, saw the builds in progress, and came away impressed with the workmanship. Others point to the quality of the craftsmanship and the new ideas that go into a layout. If you're planning a van build and want a shop that shapes the space around your plans rather than a fixed floorplan, this is the kind of place to call. The parking lot is wheelchair accessible.
