About Camping World - Newport News
Camping World on the Peninsula side of Newport News sells new and used RVs, motorhomes and travel trailers, and the lot carries a range of models and floor plans to walk through. Reviewers often mention the camper selection and the staff who take time to explain options, including shoppers who came in just to learn about trailer layouts. Beyond sales, the store handles financing, trade-ins, consignment and delivery, and there is a service department plus a parts and supply area in the building. Some reviews call out sales pressure, and one buyer had a used van that spent months in the shop after purchase. Others describe no-pressure visits and credit specific employees by name for help with financing and trade-in. Wait times come up, and weekend crowds can make it feel busy. With more than 1,500 Google reviews averaging 4.2, there is a lot of feedback to weigh before you drive over.
