About Wandervans
Wandervans rents campervans out of Boise and has been doing it since June 2016. The fleet sits between a tent and a full RV, which is the point: you get a bed and a stove without hauling a big rig around. Rentals come with instructional videos, and reviewers say pickup and drop off were simple. People write about the beds being comfortable and the vans being clean, and several mention the built-in heater getting them through cold nights in the mountains. Families and solo travelers both chime in, and staff come up as responsive when plans change, like adding a day or asking for an early pickup. A few note the smaller vans are basic, but reliable and easy to drive. The shop also handles conversions and installs for Webasto and Espar heaters, Goal Zero, and ARB products. If you are thinking about buying a campervan, renting one first is an easy way to test the idea before you commit.
