About True Van
True Van is a van upfitting shop in Montclair, not a typical lot full of finished RVs. The team converts vans into campers, handling sleeping areas, kitchens, storage, and the electrical and plumbing systems that make off-grid trips work. Reviewers keep coming back to the people. Several mention Fernando, Jaime, and Jon by name and describe them as patient and detail-focused, with one customer saying they answered calls on weekends and even stopped by the house. The attention to detail shows up again and again in the reviews, and one person called their van their favorite of five RVs. Not every review is glowing. One customer says they asked for a gas generator and got batteries instead, and another notes a deposit that turned out to be non-refundable. Worth reading the whole set before you commit. Delivery is mentioned as an option. The shop keeps regular hours rather than staying open around the clock.
