About Summit RV
Summit RV sits on 20 acres in Ashland, Kentucky, and carries travel trailers, fifth wheels, motorhomes, tent campers and toy haulers. Brands on the lot include Jayco, Keystone, Coachmen, Forest River, Thor and Winnebago. The same local family has run the place for 50 years. Reviewers tend to mention the sales staff by name and describe them as patient and low pressure, with some driving hours from other states after a few days of questions and measurements over the phone. Walkthroughs at pickup get good marks too. The fifth wheel and trailer selection comes up often, and Jayco does especially. Not every review is glowing. A few mention slide problems after delivery and trouble getting a call back. Financing, trade-ins and delivery are part of the deal, and the parts and service center is under the same roof as the showroom, which holds around 30 RVs indoors.
