About PPL Motor Homes
PPL Motor Homes in Houston is a consignment dealership that has been around since 1972. They sell between 2,200 and 2,500 consigned RVs a year and usually have 450 to 500 on the lot, including motorhomes, travel trailers, fifth wheels, and toy haulers. They also carry new Gulf Stream trailers at this location. Reviewers often mention the huge inventory and the no-pressure browsing experience. Staff members like Scott Garlington and Mike Bryant get shout-outs for being knowledgeable and attentive without being pushy. One reviewer appreciated that a salesperson checked in regularly but never pressured them. Another noted that the selection ranges from small campers to large motorhomes. Not every visit goes smoothly. A consignment seller described a frustrating 10-month process with multiple price reductions and communication issues. Another customer drove 3.5 hours for a trailer advertised as "Very Good" condition and was disappointed. Financing is available, and some reviewers mention being offered discounts to finance rather than pay cash. The dealership also handles service, parts, and delivery.
