About Outpost Campers
Outpost Campers is a Bayfield shop that builds and sells the Outpost 6.5, a hard sided composite slide-in truck camper. It is meant to be light and four-season ready, and buyers can add options like a diesel heater and solar. Delivery is mentioned. The camper is the thing people talk about. Reviewers who bought early units in 2024 praise the build quality, the fit and finish, and how much storage it packs in. Several say the inside feels roomier than their old truck camper. One tall owner says he and his wife both fit fine. A few owners have lived in theirs for months and report the insulation holds up, so the diesel heater and 48 volt air conditioner get less use than expected. Others mention camping off grid in national parks. The team gets credit for being helpful after the sale too. Twenty reviews, all perfect scores.
