About La Mesa | RecVan – San Diego RV & Motorhome Sales
This is the San Diego location of La Mesa RV, a chain that started in 1972 and now runs stores across several states. The lot carries new and used Class A, B and C motorhomes, plus adventure vans, camper vans and towables. Financing and service are both handled here, and mobile RV service is listed too. Reviews split about evenly between praise and frustration. The good ones keep naming the same things: staff who are kind and don't push, a salesperson named David who walked buyers through the details at their own pace, and a team that made the process feel easy. People also mention taking test drives and getting a proper orientation on the tech before driving off. Others tell a rougher story. One camper van owner waited about a year on an I Owe You repair. Another says their new Thor has sat for months waiting on warranty work. A few wish communication had been faster. Worth a visit if you want to compare floor plans in person. Read the service reviews closely before you commit.
