About General RV Center
General RV Center in Salisbury is a family-owned dealership right off I-85, carrying new and used motorhomes, fifth wheels, travel trailers, and campers. Reviewers often mention the wide selection and how easy it is to look around without feeling pressured. Staff get consistent praise for being kind and helpful. One buyer noted that a special factory order arrived in about a week instead of the usual 30 to 90 days. Others appreciated clear answers on pricing and financing, and the parts team's willingness to track down parts for an older fifth wheel. Financing, service, parts, and delivery are all handled on site. Reviews run mixed at times, with some complaints tied to manufacturer or warranty issues rather than the dealership itself. With a 4.4 rating across nearly 500 reviews, it's a place worth a stop if you're shopping in the Charlotte area.

What buyers mention
“We had a great experience with General RV Center. I have read mixed reviews. Most are great but some seem to blame this dealership for manufacturer and warranty issues. That's really not their fault.” – Jack B., 9 months ago, on Google
“After nearly 30 years of camping, my wife and I knew exactly what we were looking for in a camper.” – Scott M., 3 months ago, on Google
“My husband and I went in wanting to obtain some information on repairing our 2011 fifth wheel. Realizing the part may be a challenge due to the age of the RV. Karen was welcoming and took down all our information.” – Stephanie, 4 months ago, on Google
