About Garvin's RV & Adventures
Garvin's RV & Adventures in Payson handles sales, rentals, and repair. They rent RVs and will deliver one to an Arizona campsite and set it up. You can also add kayaks, canoes, or paddleboards to the trip. The lot has used units and motorhomes, and they take consignments. Reviews are mixed. Many people mention the friendly staff by name. Others describe problems with rentals: a generator that wouldn't start, a fridge that didn't stay cold, dead batteries, and weak lighting. One customer picking up a rental was told the fridge might not work. A service customer said trailer brakes weren't fixed right. Another reviewer had a good experience with a staff member who arranged a tow out of the mud. With 44 Google reviews and a 3.9 rating, the staff gets credit for being helpful, but check the specific unit before you commit. The shop does RV repair and delivery. The entrance and parking lot are wheelchair accessible.

What renters mention
“I had unfortunate circumstances during a heavy rainfall and got stuck in the mud just up the road, I called all the towing companies and no one was able to help out. My last resort was calling locals to see if someone had a 4WD truck .” – Andrew S., 3 years ago, on Google
“I bought a motorhome and the generator would not run unless the main Ford 350 HP was running, I stopped by and talked to Nick telling him my problem, went home and 15 minutes later Nick showed up (house call) and tried to get it fixed…” – Claude C., a year ago, on Google
“Can't believe how fast they sold my RV for me. I had a check in hand within days of submitting consignment paperwork. So much better than trying to sell it myself!!” – Shannon B., 5 years ago, on Google
