About Colaw RV Sales
Colaw RV Sales sits in Carthage and has been family owned since 1977. It calls itself the largest used RV dealer in the Midwest, and the lot backs that up with travel trailers, fifth wheels and new units from several manufacturers. Parts and service are on site too, so you can get work done without a second trip. Reviewers keep coming back to the sales style. People write that nobody pounced on them, that a salesman handed over a card and let them wander the fifth wheels on their own. Several mention asking for Lance by name and getting straight answers about budget instead of an upsell. Others describe buying a travel trailer from hours away after a phone call and finding it as clean as promised. The salvage yard and used parts side draws its own crowd. Service gets good words as well, with one customer noting an oven replaced right when the shop said it would be. It has a 4.3 rating across more than 770 Google reviews, which is worth a look before you drive over.

What renters mention
“My wife and I have been to just about every RV dealership in and around Joplin, and let me tell you, most of them are either nowhere to be found when you need help, or they pounce on you like you owe them rent money.” – troy n., 11 months ago, on Google
“We had a phenomenal sales experience here. Lance Norwood was ready to help us when he knew we were arriving. He took us to the one we wanted to see right away, then offered others in a comparable budget.” – Taylor J., 9 months ago, on Google
“We had a great experience with the purchase of our travel trailer from Colaw RV Sales. Aaron, Sean and Tanner were great to work with. Tanner put the E2 stabilization hitch on for us and it worked perfectly on our trip back to Texas.” – David R., 2 years ago, on Google
