About Coastal Vans
Coastal Vans is a custom camper van shop in West Kingston, Rhode Island. They handle van builds, component installations, repairs, and upgrades, from weekend rigs to full conversions. Reviewers consistently praise Jason's craftsmanship and attention to detail. One customer brought in a 1966 VW Kombi and appreciated the collaborative approach, with Jason sharing ideas and experience without overselling. Another said his woodwork and carpentry expertise stood out, and a year later the van is still holding up great. Several mention heater installations, including a diesel heater added to a pre-built DIY van. Communication is another theme, with one reviewer noting Jason returned calls in the middle of the night to help troubleshoot electrical issues. The shop is wheelchair accessible and LGBTQ+ friendly.
