About Campovans

Campovans is a camper van builder and upfitter on the south coast. They specialize in custom interiors, mostly on Mercedes Sprinters, and they've been at it long enough that reviewers say the experience shows. One customer praised the thoughtful engineering and reasonable cost. Another called them among the most ethical builders around and said you won't find cheaper, but you get what you pay for. The shop also sells parts and DIY supplies, so you can ask about pieces you can't find online. Locals describe a busy conversion shop that still makes time for walk-ins. A traveler who stopped by unannounced got a small fix on the spot and a lunch tip. Another reviewer with a latch question left with a clear answer. It's a family-run operation, with father, son, and wife involved. Delivery is available, and the entrance and parking lot are wheelchair accessible. Google reviews sit at 4.6 from 11 ratings. Not everyone is happy: one person waited days for a quote and finally got told there was no availability. If you're planning a build, it's worth reaching out early. The shop has posted hours and isn't open around the clock.
