About Camping World - Thornburg
Camping World's Thornburg lot sits off the interstate in Virginia and carries new and used motorhomes and travel trailers, plus camping gear and accessories. The store also handles financing, trade-ins, consignment and repairs, so you can sort most of a purchase or a fix in one stop. It's a big operation, with more than 1,800 Google reviews averaging 4.1. Reviewers often bring up the staff: courteous, informative, and low pressure on the sales floor. Several mention shopping by camper type and walking specific floorplans before deciding. Service is more mixed. One owner waited two months for a fridge diagnosis, and another consignment seller pushed back on a repair bill after an inspection score. Hours run on a regular schedule, and the entrance and lot are wheelchair accessible. If you want to see a particular travel trailer in person, it's worth calling ahead about what's on the lot.
