About Camping World - Springfield
Camping World in Springfield is a chain dealership for new and used RVs, motorhomes, travel trailers, and fifth wheels. They also handle financing, trade-ins, consignment, and service, and stock parts and accessories. The showroom is clean, and a few reviewers call out the camper selection. Reviewers mention helpful salesmen and a wide range of campers, with 5th wheels coming up often. But some buyers describe long waits, including a four-hour appointment, and units that arrived with damage or missing fixes. A few say the sales process dragged due to inexperienced staff, and one had a billing dispute over diagnostic charges. If you visit, know that experiences vary. Some leave happy with their camper purchase or upgrade. Others run into delays or repair issues. Read the recent reviews and inspect your unit closely before signing.

What renters mention
“In October 2025, we bought a used 5th wheel toy hauler. We spent 3 hours inspecting this unit and came up with a fairly large list of things we would have liked to have been fixed.” – Nan A., 6 months ago, on Google
“As we arrived at Camping World the first thing that stuck out to me was, there wasn't anywhere for me to park my truck and camper. They should have a visitors parking area right in front. I have seen this at other RV-Camping areas.” – Bill K., 5 months ago, on Google
“We love Aaron he is the best Best we’ve came here twice on our way to different states one to Denton, Texas Another to Oklahoma City and he helped us every step of the way explained everything he is amazing and incredible.” – Suga R., 4 months ago, on Google
