About Camper Care
Camper Care sits in Rootstown and wears two hats: a used travel trailer lot and a service shop. It has been family run since 1981, and plenty of reviewers single out Bud and his crew by name for being helpful and straight with them. One traveler passing through Ohio lost their water and got squeezed in when other shops said they were too busy. The repair side handles framework and axle work, trailer repair, brakes, tires, batteries, electrical, oil changes and A/C. Reviewers also mention propane fills and an LED brake light job where the tech caught a wiring mistake. A parts and accessories showroom is on site, and consignment is an option if you want to sell. Not every review is kind. One complaint centers on how a warranty question was handled at the counter, and another takes issue with how the shop responded. The shop does not run around the clock, so call ahead to schedule an appointment.
