About Ballew's Hitch Truck & RV
Ballew's Hitch Truck & RV on Tacoma's south side has built a following for hitch and towing work. The 4.9 star rating across 316 Google reviews comes largely from hitch installation and towing jobs, plus a steady stream of brake controller installs. Reviewers describe Kevin as knowledgeable and honest, and several mention being shown how their new equipment works before leaving. One customer said a brake controller install cost about half what a Kent shop quoted. Another praised a custom hitch fabricated on site in about two hours. A flat tow setup on a Jeep Wrangler and a Pullrite 4400 on a GMC 2500HD both come up in reviews. Fifth wheel hitches, receiver installs, wiring and tow packages all get mentioned. One reviewer noted chipped plastic on an older truck after a brake controller job but said it still worked fine. The shop handles motorhomes and travel trailers, and the entrance and parking lot are wheelchair accessible.
