About Apollo RV Rentals - New York Branch
Apollo RV Rentals runs a lot in South Amboy, and the reviews land all over the map. The helpful staff shows up again and again, and several people call out one employee by name for answering questions and walking them through the unit. One reviewer said the manager and the whole team were great and praised the selection of RVs on the lot. Not everyone leaves happy. A few describe a handover that felt rushed, with a scratch noticed later and a bill attached. Another had to wait hours while overcharges got sorted out. One review is angry enough that you should read it yourself before you go. Parking is tight, so take it slow pulling in with an RV. Call ahead if you want to talk through a specific unit, since posted hours are not clear.

What buyers mention
“We received a nearly new RV at no extra cost, including two slide-outs. Unfortunately, the handover was somewhat superficial; we didn't notice a scratch/dent, which we were later billed $248 for.” – Stefan M., 7 years ago, on Google
“We had a nice experience overall. It started out looking bad. However with pictures of our unit as proof, we were able to show we had not done any damage. The staff at this location were very kind to girlfriend and myself.” – Gregory B., 7 years ago, on Google
“The RV and all of the amenities worked great. Had pots, pans, toaster, even a tea kettle, awesome. Everything was very easy to use. Edna was very friendly, helpful and answered all my questions.” – jonasz k., 6 years ago, on Google
