About ACI VANS
ACI Vans builds custom adventure vans and specialty conversions out of Mesa. The shop turns Sprinters and other platforms into off-grid campers, overland rigs, mobile offices and field command units. Builds include solar, lithium batteries, cabinetry, plumbing and communications gear, and delivery is listed among what they offer. Reviewers tend to talk about the electrical side. Several describe bringing in vans with wiring done elsewhere and leaving with the problem fixed. Clayton comes up by name for asking the right questions, sticking with a diagnosis and fitting people in same day. Suspension upgrades and heater installs show up in the reviews too, along with repeated mentions of fast work and quality work. One reviewer who traveled from Australia had a rougher time, writing that the van was not finished on arrival and that a bank transfer delay left them paying for a hotel and rental car. Worth reading the full reviews before you commit. The shop is wheelchair accessible.

“I went to ACI Vans because I had problems with my electrical installation (done by another company). They fit me in with an appointment the same day I called them (even though they had plenty of work).” – Monica P., 4 years ago, on Google
“Cannot recommend ACI Vans enough. After going through an awful experience with other "mechanics" who carelessly made multiple errors on my van's suspension, Clayton asked all the right questions and quickly figured out the issues and…” – S B., 5 years ago, on Google
